About Ta Prohm Kel
The 12th century Ta Prohm Kel is one of two surviving hospitals (out of 102) built by Jayavarman VII. It consists of a single sandstone tower in an advancing state of ruin. It is similar in design and condition to the other surviving hospital – the Chapel of the Hospital. There is are three fake doorways on the tower and it has Buddhist carvings that are in a reasonable state.
