Temple of Angkor Wat

This is still a National Geographic moment. If you want to see the magnificent city of Angkor Wat, don't wait. The area is losing its character with development. Cambodia is poor, but very friendly. Bring lots of $1 bills, everything is a dollar, and I recommend a local guide. We stayed at Casa Angkor, a colonial hotel with charm and a good service. Cambodia is inexpensive and working hard to join the modern world.

anchor wat is amazing... the people are friendly but sometimes a little to pushy with you want to buy.....and even if you buy something they want you to buy more for your family and friends.. sunrise is awsome hear is a must do!!!
