Thommanon is a small 11-12th century Angkorian temple.  It is located east of Angkor Thom’s eastern gate, and across the Victory Way from Chau Say Tevoda, which is nearly identical to it (although built later).  Thommanon is in much better condition than Chau Say Tevoda, having been restored in the 1960s.  It has many excellent sandstone carvings that are in fine condition, and the color of the aged sandstone makes for good photography against the lush jungle.
