Situated in the Squamish River Watershed, Brackendale Eagle Park is home to almost 4000 eagles including the bald eagle. The eagles start arriving around mid November and stay around until mid February. December and January are the best times for eagle sighting and the best location to view them is at the Eagle Viewing Dyke.

My friend - who loves birds told me all about this place. I had heard about it being billed as "Eagle Capital of the World", but it's something else going up to the park and seeing hundreds of eagles perched amongst the trees. A pretty crazy experience. :)
