Given how tall the surrounding coastal mountains are, I always thought Burnaby Mountain didn't really seem tall enough to be considered a mountain. But drive up to the park, take a look at the views from the top of the lower mainland (and all the way out to the ocean), and the mountain's 370m feels that much taller.

Highlight of Burnaby!
This is the one thing Burnaby has that other local municipalities don't offer - a mountain!
Beautiful campus (Simon Fraser University) situated at the top.
Great views from the park and good place to take pictures, watch the sunset, or have a picnic!
