Drive along Hwy 1, follow signs to the Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park.
Turn left at the Chilliwack River Bridge (about 28 km). Turn left at the Forest Mountain Forest Service (near th Ford Mountain Corectional Institution).

Found this place in a guidebook about the 100 best hikes in BC. Driving there took a while from Burnaby but the end result was so worth it - panoramic snow capped mountain views all around near the summit.
Most of the road is steep four wheel drive terrain so if your car can't make it then you will have to hike the extra distance. That was fine for me - the extra distance made it the length of a regular hike. It's 5 hours with a regular car and 40 minutes if you have 4 wheel drive. Highly recommended hike.
