Situated on the edge of the Monashee mountains, about 56 km from Kelowna, Big White is one of the few destination ski resorts in B.C.  Big White averages 750 cm of snow per year, and was voted "Best Powder" by Ski Canada magazine in 2008.  There are five powder bowls, 118 marked runs and many lines through trees.

Skied there many, many years ago when it was still a 'local' ski destination. 17,000! Wow! But, where are the pictures if you're going to sell this wonderful place? It was possibly the best skiing experience I had had up to that time - early 1970's.

I love Big White! It's got a really cosy village feel, and there's more than enough varied terrain to please anybody.
