Once a rock quarry, Queen Elizabeth Park is now one of the most popular parks to visit in the city.  From the top of the park (which is situated on a hill), you can have beautiful views of the city and the downtown skyline.  The park now features numerous gardens (built within former quarry sites), a golf course, several tennis courts, a conservatory and more.

Queen Elizabeth Park is definitely one of my favourite parks to visit. I used to think it was so cliche - every time I came there was a wedding going on, but as I grow older I'm coming to appreciate why people like this site so much. Queen Elizabeth Park, or QE park as people like to call it is a beautiful park to stroll through as it's filled with sprawling lawns, beautiful flower gardens and a panoramic view of Vancouver. Definitely worth a visit!
