Robson street between Granville and Denman

May 16, 2011 This is Vancouver's own "It could be anywhere in the world" shopping street, complete with all the same clothing chains as any city in the US and Canada, and many of the same as in Australia and Europe. The restaurants don't scream quality, perhaps because it is always so ridiculously crowded that they don't need to be good to do well. If you want to shop, I would much more recommend the local designers shops on the following streets: West 4th; West Broadway; Main Street (Between Broadway and King Edward); Commercial Drive (Between Venables and Broadway); Gastown: Dream, Dutil, etc... I would highly recommend picking up a Modern Urban Guide map, which is free from most local designers shops, and many local restaurants. Sep 20, 2009 A good place to spend a lazy couple of hours. It's got starbucks, (tsunami) sushi, earls, milestones, cactus club and all the big name stores (gap, lululemon, roots, club monaco, A/X, mexx, esprit, bebe, The Bay, entrance to Pacific Place...). Good jumping off point for Granville street, Gasville and Stanley Park. It's never a wrong turn to end up on Robson St. Sep 20, 2009 There is so much todo in Vancouver, I do not know where to start, but whatever you do do not miss the whale watching tour during the summer, the best time to go is end of May - June- July and August, when I was there last I saw over 50 orka whales!! no exageration, it was breath taking Oct 21, 2008 That's a really really really great shopping street! Especially when I was there because then everything was on sale... There are also many nice restaurants on robson street. So, if you're ever in Vancouver Robson Street is a must-go! Related Links
