The Maritime Museum of British Columbia has been in its present location since 1965 and tells the story of BC's maritime history.  There are themed galleries covering early exploration and pirates to the Royal Navy and everything in between.  The exhibits are spread out over three levels and there are also three small boats on display.

The museum is housed in the 1889 Provincial Law Counts, which includes the oldest operating elevator in Canada and fine woodworking.
