First opened in 1873, this 27.5 acre cemetery/public park is the resting ground for numerous famous Canadians including Emily Carr, Sir James Douglas, Sir Matthew Begbie, numerous BC premiers and more.

The Victorian-Style cemetery is features numerous elaborate mausoleums and tall pillars.

Ross Bay Cemetery is situated beside Ross Bay.

I'm pretty sure this was the place I went to on a high school field trip. This Victorian-style Cemetery had really elaborate mausoleums. We went at dusk which of course added to the atmosphere.
