Nov 10, 2008 Victoria has several exceptional museums, rated among the very best in North America, including the Royal British Columbia Museum. Its special exhibitions greatly contribute to its international acclaim and have included Empires Beyond the Great Wall: The Heritage of Genghis Khan; Leonardo da Vinci: Scientist, Inventor, Artist; Dragon Bones: When Dinosaurs Ruled China; and Eternal Egypt Oct 24, 2011 It's a great museum filled with natural history and local history, both of the Native Americans and also of the first settlers in BC and in Western Canada. I love the mining section where you walk through a fake mine and pass through an old captains office in a giant ship that explored the West Coast of Canada. Brilliant. May 27, 2010 I found this Royal BC Museum was one of the best because of the beautiful Native American collection. I studied a lot about indigenous people and this artifacts are brilliant. You cannot find that outside America.
