Glenora Distillery
About Glenora Distillery
Billed as "North America's only single malt whiskey distillery and inn", Glenora opened in 1900 on a 300-acre site with log cabins for overnight lodging built on the mountain overlooking the glen. The seven distillery-associated buildings were built with the traditional post-and-beam construction typical of Scottish distilleries.

Jul 28, 2010 Glenora produces 250,000 litres of Glen Breton Rare Canadian Single Malt Whiskey each year, all aged in oak barrels. Because it's not distilled in Scotland it can't be called Scotch, but this hasn't hurt the company at all, and business is strong in Canada in the USA. I'm a whiskey fan, and this is definitely one to try! :) Related Links
