Get right up close to the Niagara Falls by taking an elevator 53 metres (175 feet) down into the Niagara Gorge, then follow a series of wooden walkways towards "Hurricane Deck."  The deck is located about 150 feet from the base of the falls giving you a really close bottom up view of the falls.

Standing on the wooden deck with the power of nature just inches away from you, you realize how small we are in the grand cosmic scheme of things. They provide you with a raincoat, but I just stood under the water, and let me troubles float away!

I went a long time ago as a kid, and probably didn't appreciate the beauty of the rocks as much as the beauty of the water blowing sideways! Definitely worth a visit again!

A fantastic walk down below the falls on the American side. Guaranteed to get wet and feel the power of the falls.
