another place to see while in ottawa...actually a castle brought over from england brick by brick...picked the wrong spot thou...it started to sink...the govt spent loads of money to keep it level...cool dinosaurs... and other animals that have lived in canada...if your into cubs/scouts and live in ottawa...you can do over nites in a sleeping bag in the dinosaur area

Currently in the middle of a large remodeling there is still plenty to see. They have dinosaurs with fossilized soft tissue as well gigantic Sea Turtles, interactive displays, living creepy crawler exhibits and much more. Very kid friendly and plenty to keep the adults busy too.

great native indian and early settler displays. children`s museum is a hit with kids. They get to stamp their own passport with location visas! the view of the river and the Parliament buildings across the river are just spectacular too.

Excellent place, cheap, and very good, even if it's half closed for some months.
