The Canadian Museum of Civilization presents over 10,000 years of Canada's pre-history, history and culture. The Museum building is an architectural masterpiece -- a symbolic depiction of a land sculpted by winds, waters and glaciers at the end of the Ice Age, when humans first crossed into Canada from Asia.

I've been to the Museum of Civilization a few times, and I always enjoy the visit. You learn a lot about Canada's history and about the cultures of the indiginous peoples that were living here long before European settlers "discovered" the New World. I enjoy all of the exhibits, but my favorite part is the station where you can watch the "A Part of our Heritage" commercials! These were played during commercial breaks just about everytime I watched tv as a kid, and are great snapshots of points of interest in the history of Canada.

A fabulous museum that is a must see for young or old. I highly recommend a trip to the IMAX theatre to catch a show. It is definately one of my favourite places in Ottawa and since I live here I get to visit it often. The location is stunning and provides a great location for photographers to get a shot of the parliament buildings from across the river.

the canadian museum of civilization is canada’s national museum of human history. in the grand hall is a colour photograph which captures a forest scene and is believed to be the largest colour photograph in the world. very interesting!

Um dos melhores museus que eu fui em toda a minha vida. Amplo, muito bem cuidado, com um acerto incrivel, super dinamico. Com direito a cidade cinematografica contando a historia do Canada. Impressionante mesmo! E excelente preço.
