A range of ecosystems can be found here as the park includes marshes, ponds, beaches and bogs. You may even come across carnivorous plants on your hikes. There are more than 14km of hiking trails, plenty of biking trails and more than 300 camp sites at MacGregor, which is just south of Port Elgin.
A nice park to visit in the spring as many birds stop here and keep the trees buzzing with activity. Bring your bike, as the trails here are decent. Just be wary of poison ivy as it is abundant in this park!
