Billed as the world's tallest free-standing structure at 553M (1,815ft tall), the tower dominates the Toronto Skyline. Six high speed elevators take you up to the Observation Deck located at 342m (1,122 ft), where you a thick glass floor allows you to test your fear (or lack thereof) of heights.  On this floor, you can also visit an outdoor observation deck.

Four metres higher, is the Horizon's Cafe that allows you to sit back and enjoy the view.  For a more formal dining experience, the 360 is a fine dining restaurant located at 351 metres.  This dining restaurant rotates, allowing diners to get ever-changing snapshot of the city.  This deck makes one complete rotation every 72 minutes.

The truly daring can zip up the Sky Pod, the World's Highest Observation Deck located at 447m (1,465ft)

The CN Tower was built in 1976 by Canadian National.  The microwave receptors located on the tower at 338 metres and a 553.33m antenna, making it a major communication tower for a number of media outlets.

The CN Tower is open every day except New Years Day.

The CN Tower is a really cool place if you have never been. It used to be the tallest building in the world, but now a building has been built in Dubai, so it is the second largest building in the world. They have recently put a glass floor in the elevators, and the elevator ride up is close to two minutes. There is the 360 degree restaurant at the top, which is a view you cannot get anywhere else. The only downside of going here is you will have to pay for the ride to the top, and while your up there the restaurant is a little pricey from the last time I remember being there! Otherwise, totally worth seeing!!!

One of the unforgettable places to go within your visit to Toronto, will be this huge tower. At the time of my visit it was one of the seven wonders of the Modern World (don't know if it's still considered a wonder). From it you'll have an amazing view of the entire city and even further away. It's not only a touristic place, it also represents a telecommunications tower. Besides the it's altitude, you'll also be able to walk over the Glass Floor(amazing indeed, you can feel you walk over the clouds) and guess what's it's just over the Roger's Stadium.
Believe it. It's worth the price.

You pay US$ 28 to go up. I went in a snowy day, the visibility was bad, but, still, it was worthy. After the time cleared a bit - I waited about 20 minutes for that, I was lucky - the view was very impressive. Toronto looked like a toy city. I could see ships crossing the half-frozen river faaar away, and people ice skating. They say in a sunny day, you can see Niagara Falls from the Sky Pod (the highest part, 447 meters from the floor). The most impressive thing was the glass floor ... the city at your feet ... it made me dizzy. Three stars 'cause it wasn't a clear day.

Defining the Toronto skyline, the CN Tower is Canada's most recognizable and celebrated icon. At a height of 553.33m (1,815 ft., 5 inches), it is Canada’s National Tower, the World's Tallest Building, an important telecommunications hub, and the centre of tourism in Toronto. While visiting the CN Tower, not only enjoy the amazing view, but the many great attractions available. With 4 lookout levels the view of Toronto just gets better the higher you go.

Get up in the CN Tower and you'll remember how insignificant we truly are in this great big world.

Ohhh, and make sure to visit the Hard Rock Cafe (I think its only a block or two away from there). The SkyDome/Rogers Centre is very close as well.

Make sure to bring some spare cash, as small street vendors were selling stuff all over the place.

Fun place to visit!
