medieval style castle located not too far from downtown toronto. home to sir henry pellatt a financier and industrialist, built in 1911, took three years to build at a cost of €3.5million complete with stables, underground swimming pool, ball room, secret passages, towers, lavishly decorated rooms and fantastic gardens. explore the house at your own pace, personal audio guided tours are available at the enterance which i recommend. available in all major languages. rich in history a real gem not to be missed.

I really enjoyed the big house with the extraordinary history. It's interesting to see how certain people back then lived...Nice interior. You definitely need 3-4 hours and dont forget to relax in the beautiful garden.

Casa Loma means house on the hill. It is a beautiful building which has been built to look like a castle. If you want to visit don't go in the summer, its an old building with no AC so it gets v hot.

Lovely castle-like folly on the outskirts of the city. Can easily spend a few hours wandering inside and out.

(3 of the photos on the page are not Casa Loma!)

Beautiful house and grounds but with quite a sad history. Had it's fair share of films use the place as a set too - an interesting place to visit.
