The longest street in the world! ( supposedly, how do they know?) Yonge Street stretches from lake Ontario and goes north, through Toronto and many other cities like Richmond Hill and Newmarket. The downtown stretch of Yonge Street is a bit trashy / touristy with sketchy shops and random restaurants thrown together. If you have a few hours though, it is worth wandering along from Eglinton Ave down south to Front Street. (Tip: take subway north and walk south so you're not walking uphill the entire way)

The longest street in the world. Whatever you're looking for can be found on Yonge street. Salad King just loved into the old Reiley's above the footlocker on Yonge & Gould. I've been to Thailand... Salad King has the best Thai food in the world!!!!!

Just simply walking down Yonge Street in downtown Toronto is an experience. You see just about any and everything.

A mecca for shoppers and some great restaurants are on this street. Yonge is also the longest street in the world.
