May 1, 2009 I can't imagine getting kicked out of a provincial park if you're there to enjoy the nature and serenity. Wheatley offers a nice retreat as long as you do not visit during peak times in the summer, which can be crowded and noisy. Campsites vary a lot, from open grassy spots to nicely treed, water sites. Lots of birds here, and a big beach, but not a ton of wildlife or hiking trails. Quite close to London and "civilization" so don't go here if you're looking for a quiet escape. Related Links
