Started in 1904 as a small chapel and finished in 1967 as a Roman Catholic basilica, Saint Joseph's Oratory is situated in the northern side of Mont Royal.  It boasts the third largest dome of its kind in the world.

The Saint Joseph's Oratory is one of the most striking buildings in Montreal. I enjoyed walking around the various paths to the basilica. It's a great place for pictures on a sunny spring day.
