Also known as Battlefields Park, the Plains of Abraham is named after the famous battle that took place on September 13, 1759.  Led by General Wolfe on the English side and the Marquis de Montcalm on the French, the decisive battle mortally wounded both generals and ultimately led to the British control of Canada.

I love it, it's one of my favorite historical place because it's where the French faught against the British, to kept their country. Unfortunately the French lose the game, but it's all about our roots for us the «Quebeckers» - «Québécois». We faught there for our nation! Les Plaines d'Abraham is a big touristic site in the province of Quebec, a lot of travelers around the world came here just to see it, it's amazingly beautiful! It's green and fresh in the city where you see all the flashing lights and the Château Frontenac.

Quebec is very nice city !!! born 1608 by Samuel de Champlain ! Les Plaines d'Abraham is a great place, especially on 23th june every year !!!

A great site of importance to Canadian history, and now a large park within Quebec. A must visit.
