84 m high and, hence, taller than Niagara Falls, these waterfalls close to Québec city provide a nice view on the city and the former battlefields and, of course, on the power of nature.  The waterfall can be viewed from the highway, via a suspension bridge and staircases.

Great waterfalls. I actually prefer these to the Niagara falls. You can get very very close, and it changes so much through the seasons that you would want to come back there every month. Highly recommendable and worth going!

Higher than Niagara Falls. The suspension bridge here is beautiful and be sure to see the falls from both sides, and below if you want to challenge yourself walking up/down the massive staircase! An important historic site from Canadian history too, great spot near Quebec City, which you can bike to, if so inclined.

Gorgeous in winter as you can walk across the lake to the frozen falls.....and the big kids can slide down the "sugar loaf" the mound of ice created by the spray

Very impressive view of the area the Montmorency battle took place.
Nice walk over and next the falls. Also very nice view from the cable car.
