Ski Hill
Ski resort about 40 minutes away from Montreal.  It has three million watts of lighting making it possible to ski at night as well.  A snow machine ensures that the ski season is long - over 140 days.

North on Autoroute des Laurentides (Highway 15). Take Exit 58 and follow the signs for Mont Saint-Sauveur.

This is one of the closest places to go skiing from Montreal, and it's not bad. It won't be challenging enough for the triple-black-diamond folks, but for the rest of us it's good enough to get away and out there on the slopes. They've got a snow making and the weather is cold enough that you can guarantee a pretty long snow season.
