It takes 4 - 6 hours to summit and descend Volcan Villarica.  It can be done year round - just makes a difference as to how much snow there is.  They way down is a combination of sledding and walking.  Stunning views

Absolutely stunning views, brilliant volcano and done on a nice day is a thrill.
