Exceelent beach at the far north of the island. You need to rent a car or take a taxi there. The sand is super fine and soft, and teh beach never gets overly corwded. Great clear water, and there are some Moai nearby too. Bring some water and food with you, even though some small food / snack stalls are there. For a more private experience, you can walk over to Ovahe beach.

The island has actualy only two sand beaches and this is one of them.Situated in the North,it is good also for bodysurfing.Palms are all over the beach and a few small stands sell refreshings and souvenirs.But don't forget the sand and the beach.It won't happen twice !
