Simply awesome is to wake up very early in the morning. But of course for a good reason. Exploring the geysers of El Tatio in Northern Chile almost in the Bolivian border. Amazing volcanic hot springs exploding in front of your eyes. Just a mind-blogging scene for a predawn journey. You can even warm your milk in the geysers for an exotic breakfast in the middle of the desert.Try not to miss the tiny village of Machuca tribe in the atacama. Set your alarm clock and enjoy the ride.

This is one of the most exciting trips I have done. Early morning you have to leave San Pedro and drive for a while. The colours of the sky during the early morning are spectacular. When you get there you have to walk slowly. The guide will give you coca tea and boil eggs just in boiling water of some of the pools. The colours of the Geysers are just amazing, as they change from green, blue, orange, etc.. The sky is so clear and the mountains so near. I think it cannot be missed!

Although you have to wake up really early and face the wind and cold it's really worth seing. I loved this place, took many pictures and would probably get back if I had the chance!

Very nice to visit. And don't forget to visit the Valle de la luna, the salar de Atacama with the flamencos and the church in San Pedro.
