Elephant Trunk Hill is one of Guilin's best known landmarks. It features a steep hill with a big oval hole in it at the edge of the river leaving the resulting rock formation to resemble an elephant's trunk dipping into the water. The hill is located within a park that includes a number of borderline-comedic statues that are nevertheless worth a a quick visit.

This park is actually quite nice - you can take a leisurely walk along the banks of the Li River and pop over to a few islands connected the banks by bridge. Elephant hill can be viewed from up close if you go around and behind it.

An odd shaped mountain in Guilin that is said to look like an Elephant. You can kind of see the resemblence from one side of the mountain. You can take a rivier tour near the mountain or walk around it. It is a very scienic place.
