Go on a cruise along the Li River. You'll see sceneries that you'd never experienced before. Double ranges of green mountains that present magic Chinese paintings. The green mountains have peculiar shapes and some of them look like animals, people... You can also see water buffaloes swimming . On the boat you can enjoy a Chinese meal and drink Snake Wine. This wine is drunk to enhance immunity and to give strength.Personnally I've tried it, and I'm still alive!!!!

Guilin is nice, but not as fantastic as Xangshuo.
Yangshuo borders the Li River on one side, and is situated on a small plain between a number of karst peaks.
One can swim in the Li River, climb one of many nearby karst peaks, hire a bicycle for a cycling trip through the karst scenery, arrange a sightseeing trip on the Li River by bamboo raft or cruise boat, or visit a number of local cave systems, including a butterfly cave.

it's a great thing to take a boat trip on the Li River, but you should know that you're not alone! But it's very relaxing and fun, and at every (small) waterfall, there is someone who takes photo's, wich you can buy for a small amount of money.. :)
