Excellent rock climbing destination with plenty of sport climbing for beginners to advanced climbers.  Superb karst limestone rock, beautiful scenery, and lively downtown scene.

Most people arrive in Guilin and take the 1-hour bus ride down to Yangshuo, which you can catch at the train station.

Yangshuo is one of my favorite climbing destinations in the world! More info of my Yangshuo trip on www.myticklist.com and a beginner's guide on my climbing blog .
