The Luding Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Dadu River in Luding, Sichuan. It is most famous, as it was crossed and held as a strategic point by Mao Zedong's Red Army during the Long March.

Dec 26, 2008 The bridge is a little scary to cross because it is so shaky and the Dadu River is gushing below. Locals will take your picture in some 1930s costumes on the bridge to "re-enact" the crossing of the bridge in exchange for a few yuan. Related Links
