The Great Mosque in Xian is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China . It was set up in 742 AD during the Tang dynasty. There are 20 million Muslim in China .
You go the Mosque on foot via a busy narrow covered bazaar where you find souvenirs displayed on stalls. The Mosque is a mixture of Chinese and Islamic architecture. It’s divided into parts and it’s got a large beautiful courtyards.
