Dali was so much fun - very laid back, easy to spend an entire afternoon chatting in cafes, or wandering the mountains behind. Hire a bike and visit Sharping market for something wild and different. Excellent stop off en route to Tiger Leaping Gorge and Lijiang and Tibet!

We spent a few rainy days in Dali. Good place for a bike ride or there were some excellent cafes to hang out in.  We spent a lot of time doing that and watching pirated DVDs while it rained!
