Within the ancient villages of Baisha, Shuhe, Yangxi, Xuesong are the Lijiang Murals (the most well known of which are the Baisha Murals.  These murals are displayed in 15 different temples, collectively using more than 200 pieces of fresco.  The murals reflect the different religious cultures and artistic forms of Buddhism, Lamaism, Daoism, and the Naxi Dongba religion.
