If you make the trip to get here, make sure you allow at least 4 days to do a jungle trip and go when the river is high if you want to see animals. Otherwise you will be taken around to river people's villages and see first hand life on the Amazon. It is beautiful, depending on where you go and what you see and what your expectations are. English speaking guides are hard to come by. Do your research and take the time to choose the right tour company. Watch the big spiders, and piranhas!

You are right on the Amazon River here, I would highly suggest taking a tour with from the Anaconda Hotel, tour guides are very good, with great trips downt the river.
