I went here as a child and it was an amazing experience to go through all the security, it felt almost like a ride. The items in display are magnificent and all visitors will definitely understand why the Legend of El Dorado was such a legend... If you ever wondered what the fuzz with the legend was all about, you gotta visit this museum.

The most amazing gold figures collection in the world. A must see for everyone. A trip to Bogota is not complete without this place, a great tell of an ancient time and a wonderful culture.

You should go if you visit Bogota and you like at least a little of pre-Columbian cultures or simply if you enjoy being sorrounded by gold!

Collection is very well organized according to tribe and geographical locations. The vault doors are really impressive!
