Tatacoa Desert is one of the few deserts in Colombia. Is located in the south west region of the country. This place has a privileged location to contemplate the firmament and there is an astronomical observatory operating in the desert.
Lodging alternatives are camping or some basic hostals near the desert. The landscapes are wonderful and they can be seen while riding a bike.
