Oct 30, 2008 This National Park is by far better than Manuel Antonio. If you like watching various species of man from all over the world....then by all means go to Manuel Antonio. If you like seeing extrodinary amounts of wildlife in a park less run with humans and more ran by nature...go to Cahuita National Park. I spent over 10 hours in the park and in most places in the park (except the very beginning beaches) there we hardly any people. You pass a few people every 20 minutes or so....And how do you beat sitting on a secluded beach being surrounded by a traveling horde of foraging White Face Capucin monkeys??? Really, it doesn't get any better. Feb 16, 2009 you can go in the middle of the jungle in only 5 minutes, and if you re tired of that, you can walk back to the beach, because sea and jungle are together. Also you can watch exotic animals as monkeys, snakes, buterflies and listen difrents sounds birds. It's a great place to visit. Apr 13, 2010 Deserted in the Off season, a great place for a stroll to take in Costa Rica's coastal beauty. You can see loads of lizards and crabs. Birds are a bit harder to spot.
