Well worth a visit, lots of History you can walk or ride. lots of cafes and resturants to stop at while looking round. Beaches are near if you need to cool off after the tours, night life every night of the year there is something for every one., fed up with city life take a boat to one of the many islands to chill out.

This town started out as a palace for the Roman emperor Hardrian. My background is in classical history, so when I went to Croatia on business, I made sure to took time off to fly over to Split. This has to be one of Croatia's top five attractions.

If you ever go to Split, you must walk along "The Riva". This is a part inside the centar and overlooks the beautiful port area. There are a lot of restaurants and shops in this area!

Great place to drink coffee, watch people, make some photos, or just do nothing...If you wanna meet someone, go there and wait, sooner or later you will saw him
