There are seven caves in this park: Samograd cave, Bear's cave, Amidžina cave, Large Goat Pen, Small Goat Pen, Tabakuša ans Slipica Hole.


SAMOGRAD CAVE

It is of a significant natural, cultural and historical importance. The name of the cave is contained in the toponym of SAMOGRAD (self-made, self-built-samograd). The largest and the most alluring cave on Grabovača - Located on the eastern slopes of the Grabovača hill. It is 240 m long, canal height is from 4 m to 30 m and canal width in some places 25-30 m. Affluence and seductiveness of calcite forms: stalactites, stalagmites and icicle-form pillars.
The entrance is located on 675 m above sea level, lying in the elliptical waterwheel, it has the shape of a narrow canal which then expands into a large hall that becomes narrow again. Access is easy and simple, the descent into the cave down concrete stairs, whereas the advancement through the cave is easy along stone stairs and pathways.
It was visited by all age groups, from children to older individuals.
Lighting: - by using a diesel aggregate from 1989.
The public institution of "The Cave park Grabovača" plans to connect the existing lighting system to electric power as the source of power supply, and it intends to do so in the course this year, and after acquiring the necessary financial resources it intends to replace the system of lighting with a new one that would be adjusted to the ecologic standards, in a way that the temperature of the light-fittings would influence the existing microclimate of the cave to the smallest possible extent.
Samograd consists of altogether four halls. The natural scientist, Dragutin Hirc, calls them:
    * Frasov Hall, in honour of the school supervisor of Karlovac borderland of Fras, who described Samograd in 1850;
    * Perušića Hall, in honour of the noble family of Perušić, the first landlords of Perušić;
    * Karlovića Hall, in honour of the civil governor Ivan Karlović who defended Lika and Krbava against the Turks;
    * Kukuljevića Hall, in honour of Ivan Kukuljević Sakcinski, the historian who had Samograd anthropologically explored.
Hirc mentions that the fifth hall was filled by a lake with clear water it doesnt exist anymore.


BEAR'S CAVE (Medina špilja)

   * It is distinguished by its eccentric shapes emerge through the settlement or the crystallization of calcites in Palaeolithic-climatic conditions that no longer exist today;
    * 63 meters long;
    * Consists of two detached halls;
    * A passage from one hall into the other is enabled by way of stony stairs through a relatively narrow canal;
    * Movement through the cave is easy.


AMIDŽINA CAVE

* 60 meters long;
    * It's peculiarity are white calcite creations - a true rarity of our karstic area;
    * The decorated ceiling and interesting details in the final part of the second hall are decorations which we seldom come across in the underground spaces of our karstic regions:
    * The speleologists often emphasize that, considering its color and shapes of its ornaments, this is the most beautiful cave on Grabovača;
    * In order to enter into the other hall one needs ladders or stairs, lack of which is responsible for preserving and leaving Amidžina cave almost intact.


LARGE GOAT PEN (Velika Kozarica)

   * Situated near Tabakuša;
    * Consists of a large elongated hall and a smaller canal;
    * The entrance is spatial, 9 m wide and 4,5 m high
    * 30 m long;
    * The largest width is 22 m;
    * The largest height 7 m;

Great place for adventurism, mountain climbing, caving, and much much more. beautiful nature is surrounding this whole park.
