Crocodile Farm

One of the main attractions at Boca de Guama is the Criadero de Crocodilos, a huge crocodile farm. Operated by a government ministry, the Criadero de Crocodilos is a breeding facility for the Rhombifier and the Acutus (caiman) species of crocodiles, and a sanctuary for sixteen species of endangered reptiles. As the largest crocodile farm in Cuba, the Criadero de Crocodilos has more than 100,000 residents, kept in a variety of pools. You will come so close you will feel like you can just reach trough the fence and touch one of the seemingly sleeping crocs.. but don't! :)They have a young crocodile which you can take picture with, don't worry, it seems to be tranquilized and you wont believe how soft his belly will feel!
