Havana is a stunning place but in bad need of repair. The buildings are old colonial style with arches and pillars etc, great for pictures. people are very friendly, prices are constant thru out the country, local beer is cheap, shopping is poor and Cigars can be found everywhere and are cheaper at the airport. Havana would truly be one of the most beautiful cities in the world if it were allowed to thrive and rebuild the old city.

Old Havana, with its narrow streets and overhanging balconies, is the traditional centre of part of Havana's commerce, industry, and entertainment.many parts of Old Havana, including the Plaza de Armas, became part of a projected restoration project, Feel the heart beat of this wonderful country of the Caribean seas.
