May 22, 2009 The cars in this Olde town will bring you back to the 60's and 70's! There is an eclectic mix of colorful Russian and olde American cars that park in the streets of Havana. Don't be fooled, they are fierce on the inside, as handy Cubans can put V8 cylinder engines into just about any car, and so these guys really move! Also take a COCO taxi, for comparison. Aug 24, 2009 The Cuban people are really friendly, a lot of interesting buildings, history and food. Bring your own toilet paper or you'll have to pay for it! The old fort on the outside of town is worth seeing. If you are into history, standing in Revolution Square was quite an experience. Mar 14, 2008 I loved old havana - by far the highlight of my trip to Cuba. It's so much fun to just wander around aimlessly and take pictures of cracked paint and crumbling walls. I found the restaurants in this area to be a bit on the pricey side though.
