probably the most modern and cosmopolitan. Night life is good, from the pubs and hotels of the tourist area to the cafe and clubs of the old town.
If you are in Cyprus for summer vacation is worth to visit but not to stay. Agia Napa, Protaras, Paralimni, Paphos are better to relax.
Very big is the expats community, almost a russian colony, expeciallly in the east side of town. In Winter probably a bit boring, but luckily winter is very short over there.
Public Transportation even if is improving is not sufficient yet, taxi remain the best way to go around, but is very easy to pay overpriced bills, rental cars are good but be aware of the cypriot driving style. No Green areas (only a very small park/zoo, nothing good), but the seafront is good for a evening walk.

I had a great girly week with 3 friends, lots of bars, lots of drinks, lots of fun. There is a great waterpark in the older part of Limassol. The rest of the scenery is beautiful and we went parasending for Clares bday that was fun!!

A bustling city where you find most tourist because of the many shoppingstreets. It is a modern city where you can relax on a terrace and enjoy the sun. It has a small beach with a beautiful boulevard.

Seen the Border where the turks had one half of Nicosia and the Cypriots had the other there was a big turkish flag painted on the mountains!!
