Jan 6, 2010 In Mala Strana is the Imagine wall. This is a graffiti filled wall with a give peace a chance theme, based on the lyrics by John Lennon. So for once you see graffiti focused on love, not hate. This is a must see. Talking about love. A few steps away is a fence filled with padlocks of every shape and size. It looks like a total mess, but like the Imagine wall it is filled with love. The locks are placed there by couples declaring thier lifelong love for each other, a love that cannot be "unlocked". Some of the locks have inscriptions. So unlike most places around the world, the Czechs have the right idea of what messages to leave on public property. Good for them. Oct 14, 2008 Mala Strana is a beautiful old part of Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. It is really like from the tales of a famous Czech writer- such romantic, filled with he past, dreamy. It is worth spending the whole day in its streets many small stores, historic monuments and small traditional Czech pubs where you can choose one of the well-known beers. Just to recommend, try cheese "nakladany hermelin" and a good cool glass of Plzen or Gambrinus. Enjoy! Apr 7, 2009 I think it's the most beautiful aspect of prague..the area around the castle!Ilike it so much because it takes you back to the medieval times there is something dark in the air!it might be a bit tiring walking up the small streets but it's the viw that compensates you after all! Sep 5, 2008 A magical place... Where the colours and the atmosphere seem to make the time stop. Related Links
