Prague Old Town Square is stunning! The architecture and
detail that went into them blows your mind. This place is packed with people all the time but if you go late in the evening it tends to be a little less crowded and buildings will look even more stunning as they are all lit up.

Payment Accepted:

Taxi from the airport is about 30-35 euro's
Easiest way to get there... if you are flying in, though the public transit in Prague is quite good, didn't try it to the airport of train station.

I went there during the Christmas holidays and I'd recommend to anyone who wishes to visit Prague to do so in December and before New Year's Day, in order to enjoy the brilliant christmasy atmosphere in the Old Town Square, with the warmth of the open, star-shaped market and the fairy-tale like buildings surrounding the square making the place look quite magical! :)

A trully lovely place. Prague's architecture is a collection of Baroque, Renaissance, Noe-classical and more, so the impression is just breathtaking. In the old market many things happen depending when you come. I loved the idea of a hot wine stand in the winter time. Wonderful!!

i enjoyed prague very much, especially the old town square. you could do some great shopping there, or you could eat out or just walk around. you'll see how nice prague really is! i thought prague is next to stockholm the cleanest city i've been to.

The old town square is an oasis for travelers wearied by Prague's narrow streets. Among many churches, tourists may find the Astronomical Clock on this square, while the tower at the Old Town Hall offers a panoramic view of Old Town.

During the Holidays there are festival stalls ..such as the ones at Easter...food stalls, gift and crafts stalls and some live bands too. The atmosphere is warm and festive. People are generally welcoming and helpful.
