Strøget is a large carfree zone within Copenhagen. It's one of the longest pedestrian shopping areas in Europe. Many famous and expensive stores, including Magasin du Nord and the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory are located here.

Oct 3, 2008 This place never fails me. It's the longest pedestrian shopping place in Europe and it has a warm Danish feel to it. I never get enough of window shopping here and it's got nice restaurants and other places to grab some Danish sweets. No matter if it's summer or winter it's still as good. In the winter it's extra cozy, though. ;) Jan 11, 2012 I ate an Irish breakfast at a reasonably-pried Irish bar along here and had some good craic and conversation; best of the four Scandinavian cities I have been to so far
