Oct 13, 2008 The Little Mermaid / Den Lille Havfrue is kind of a must-see attraction if you're in Copenhagen. I took the canal / boat ride to see it, which was fun as you also go by many other attractions, and it serves as a nice introduction to the city. It was crowded when we went by though! So many people had walked up to it on land that you couldn't get a photo from the boat. The statue is small, and a bit of a let down, but worth a quick visit if you have free time. Nov 30, 2009 It was a bit of a let down - not as bad as Plymouth Rock, but the same kind of disappointment. For some reason, I expected more, but it's just a smallish statue in a nondescript location. Even so, Copenhagen is a wonderful city and I will definitely return someday.
