Named after a friend of Charles Darwin, Sir Bartholomew James Sulivan, Bartolomé is a small, but often photographed islet.  Its most recognizable feature is Pinnacle rock, which features a lookout point, and is a popular place to dive, snorkel and swim.  Galapagos penguins are often seen near the island.

Quintessential Galapagos! Hike the volcano for a great view. Snorkel around the base of Pinnacle Rock. Enjoy the secluded beach. It's gorgeous.
